Awqaf launches first service through Sahel application

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs launched its first service through the governmental “Sahel” application to inquire about the years of Hajj for those who performed the duty through approved Hajj campaigns.

Ibrahim Al-Enezi, Director of the Ministry’s Information Systems Department, said in a press statement Monday that the service represents the beginning of linking between the ministry and the Sahel application, reports a local Arabic daily.

He indicated that more ministry services will be launched until the completion of the targeted services to be launched on the application such as the registration service for those wishing to perform the Hajj, and the registration of students in the Quran houses, the Holy Quran memorization centers, and the young reader centers.

He explained that the targeted services also include reporting on maintenance, cleanliness of mosques, suggestions and complaints, and a number of services of interest to citizens in general, which will be launched sequentially during the coming weeks.
