Two African nationals were arrested for attempting to counterfeit and pump counterfeit dollars into the local market. The Criminal Security officials received confidential information that the two suspects were forging dollar currency in their apartment in Hawalli.
After confirming the information, a permit was issued by the Public Prosecution and the apartment was raided. The suspects were arrested and found in possession of a quantity of counterfeit dollars, as well as equipment and dyes for currency counterfeiting, Al-Anbaa reported.
