The Austrian Embassy mourns the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Austrian Ambassador Marian Wrba, wishes to extend Austria’s deep condolences to His Highness’ family, to the Government of the State of Kuwait, and to the people of Kuwait.
Austria has the utmost respect for His Highness and his proven leadership. His Highness was a great statesman and visionary who tirelessly promoted peace and security. His wise guidance earned Kuwait a globally respected role of a successful regional and international mediator. We mourn the passing away of a truly great statesman, a visionary leader and a sincere friend of our country.
