The Human Resources Department at the American University of Kuwait launched a new online portal for employment, Talentera, managed by the leading system in the region to track job candidates as part of the digital transformation initiatives that the Human Resources Department aspires to at the university, to achieve the strategic goal of attracting talent to work at the university.
The system, according to a local Arabic daily, facilitates the recruitment process in major organizations by publishing available jobs, saving applicants’ information, identifying resumes that are compatible with the organization’s needs, and helping candidates find the right job. The system contains various methods of communication, such as sending automatic e-mails, which helps the employer to communicate with job applicants.
The Director of the Human Resources Department at the university, Paul Basil, pointed out the importance of launching this platform, thanking the university administration for facilitating the task, especially Eman El-Desouki, who is in charge of the project, indicating that the system will facilitate and organize the recruitment process and raise its efficiency.
