Representatives called on the State Audit Bureau to prepare a report containing the results of the examination, review, monitoring and verification of all contractual and technical decisions and procedures concluded by the Public Works Authority, the Roads Authority and relevant authorities regarding road re-treatment and maintenance, reported Al Rai Media.
The concerned Representatives, namely Abdul Karim Al-Kandari, Muhannad Al-Sayer, Abdullah Al-Mudhaf and Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqabi, demanded that the bureau addresses the “flying gravel” phenomenon and road damage which harmed public money, as well as public livelihood and property. The Bureau was asked to monitor violators and implement procedures for the Court to take necessary measures within two months.
