CID men have arrested an Asian who entered the country illegally and worked as a fast-food delivery worker whose main intent was to sell drugs.
Al-Rai quoting security sources said when information was received about the suspect, CID officers began investigations and after learning he was not working for any home delivery service restaurant, identified him, set a trap and arrested him.
After checking his identity, it was confirmed he was delivering drugs, not fast food, and CID men found in his possession sachets of shabu.
A security source told Al-Rai the suspect was caught red-handed while he was on his way to deliver shabu to an unidentified drug addict in Farwaniya. He was then referred to the concerned authorities for further investigation and legal action.
