An Asian expatriate who is in police custody following his arrest by personnel from the Residence Affairs detectives for practicing dentistry has admitted to treating dozens of expatriates in addition to performing successful surgeries and tooth extractions.
The security authorities have seized from the man’s ‘dental clinic’ equipment used for cleaning and extracting teeth.
A security source said the man’s apartment which had been turned into a clinic was raided after personnel from the General Administration of Residence Affairs received a tip-off about the man’s activity.
The man reportedly was operating without a license and records show he was wanted by law. He is facing administrative deportation from the country.
