ASAR bags 12th consecutive IFLR National Award

Al Ruwayeh & Partners (ASAR), Kuwait’s leading law firm and one of the top-tier corporate law firms in the region, won this year’s ‘National Law Firm of the Year’ award, presented by International Financial Law Review (IFLR), for a record 12th consecutive year.

The award from IFLR, the world’s leading market guide for corporate and financial law firms worldwide, which was won for a record 12th consecutive year by ASAR, attests to the firm’s dominating presence in Kuwait’s legal field.

Speaking on receiving the award, Senior Partner at ASAR, Sam Habbas, said: “Given the current global situation in which the world finds itself in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has not been without its challenges for all of us. Having received an IFLR national award for Kuwait for the 12th consecutive year is indeed a significant achievement for us. It is a testament to the caliber and quality of our clients, the absolute level of trust that they have in our firm in handling their commercial transactions, and of course, because of the high level of skill, commitment and quality of service which our lawyers consistently deliver to our clients.”

For his part, Managing Partner at ASAR, Ahmed Barakat, added: “The award emphasizes our firm’s continuous role as a leading player in advising on the most outstanding transactions in Kuwait. This award also reflects our firm’s commitment to provide our clients with service of the highest order so that we may cross the finishing line with them in closing ground-breaking and innovative transactions.

With dedicated offices in Kuwait and Bahrain coupled with its associated offices and relationships, ASAR provides clients across an extensive range of industry sectors with comprehensive legal advice and support for their business activities in Kuwait, Bahrain, across the GCC and beyond.
