The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media Department stated that, in light of the continuous and intensive security campaigns and efforts exerted by the criminal security sector personnel from the General Department for Drug Control (GDDC) have arrested an Arab man in possession of 86 seedlings of marijuana and 770 specially prepared seeds for the cultivation of marijuana which he prepared for sale.
Al-Jarida quoting GDDC sources said after receiving a tip-off obtained the necessary permission from the Public Prosecution, and arrested the accused and seized 86 seedlings of marijuana of different sizes and shapes and a large quantity of seeds ready to be planted.
Accordingly, the accused was taken to the General Department for Drug Control to take legal measures against him and referred him, along with the seizures, to the competent authority.
