The Kuwait National Seismological Network recorded, at 2:36 am today, Saturday, an earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale south of Ahmadi.
The network added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 8 km underground.
A number of citizens and residents across the country felt the earthquake.
