On behalf of the Apostolic Nunciature in Kuwait and the Holy See,I have the pleasure to express my sincerest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on becoming the 17th Amir of the State of Kuwait. I ask all the blessings from God Almighty for His Highness the Amir and to guide him with wisdom and endow him with good health in the exercise of his new mandate as Amir of this beautiful country. May God richly bless his family and the Kuwaiti people.
I am sure that, under the guidance of His Highness the Amir, happiness and prosperity will continue in the country. At a time when war is ravaging the region, may His Highness also continue to work for peace and harmony.
