ALSAYER holds Blood Donation Campaign 2021

As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, ALSAYER Holding organized a blood donation campaign at the company headquarter in Kuwait Free Trade Zone and at the Toyota Showroom in Al-Rai on 22 and 23 November.

The campaign was organized in collaboration with Kuwait Central Blood Bank (CBB) as part of corporate sustainability and community interest. Over a hundred employees and customers voluntarily participated to donate time and blood to save lives and benefit the future of our community.

According to Nehad Al Haj Ali, Group Manager, Corporate Excellence, “The blood donation campaign demonstrates ALSAYER’s lasting commitment to the community and to its Corporate Social Responsibilities Programs. Moreover, we are contributing to the objective of enhancing blood bank stocks and raising awareness of the importance and benefits of blood donations in the community”.

The spirit of AlSayer’s blood donation campaign for 2021 was inspired by the World Blood Donor Day slogan, ‘Give blood and keep the world beating’. This message from the World Health Organization highlights the essential contribution blood donors make to keeping the world pulsating, by saving lives and improving others’ health. It reinforces the global call for more people all over the world to donate blood regularly and contribute to better overall health.

“We have organized several annual social awareness programs, including medical checkups, blood pressure tests, weight checkups and breast cancer awareness to promote public health and wellbeing of our community,” added Nehad.
