ALPHA KAPPA RHO in Kuwait, a, international humanitarian service fraternity and sorority, celebrated the group’s 50th golden anniversary Friday morning at Carlton Tower Hotel in Kuwait City with a full attendance of its registered members. Catholic cleric Ben Barrameda graced the occasion.
The event kicked off with Kuwait and Philippine National anthems with the AKRHO hymn and preamble. Opening remarks was delivered by Tony Paguibitan Jr. Grand Skeptron. Among the highlights of the event include introduction of its set of officers from 2022-2024, intermission number showcased by the group’s tiktokers, rendering of the group’s history and congratulatory messages.
The second part of the event were dinner proper, raffle draw, distribution of certificates, slide show featuring a fallen member, performance by Strawberry band and ceremonial cutting of the cake.
