Minister of Social Affairs Mai Al-Baghli has assigned Salem Al-Rashidi to complete the tasks of the assistant undersecretary for the cooperatives sector in the ministry Ahmed Al-Enezi.
According to Al-Baghli’s decision, the termination of Al-Enezi’s came “in public interest,” at a time when informed sources told the daily that the decision was a result of the events that took place in the Naseem Cooperative Society elections, which ended with announcing the cancellation of the elections and its postponement to a later time due to the stampede and lack of commitment.
The sources added that the ministry has identified a new mechanism for supervising and organizing cooperative elections, to avoid a repetition of what happened in the Naseem cooperative society, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
