With the support of the General Secretariat of Awqaf, Al-Najat Charitable Association implemented the “Public Feeding Bank” project, from which 366 families benefited, at a rate of about 1,500 beneficiaries per month inside Kuwait.
Mohammed Al-Khalidi, Director of the Aid Department at Al-Najat Charity, said that through the “Public Feeding Bank” project, they hope to provide the basic foodstuffs needed by needy families in Kuwait.
He added that those in need of support benefit from the project, and it is implemented through the distribution of smart cards, which are disbursed from central markets inside Kuwait, and the value of financial coupons varies according to the number of family members.
In conclusion, Al-Khalidi thanked the General Secretariat of Endowments, praising its keenness to support needy families in Kuwait and to provide all means of support.
