Al-Mubarakiya Market suffers from overflowing sewages

Between April and December, the old Al-Mubarakiya Markets experienced plenty of difficulties. Especially of the fire that broke out in parts of the old market that are still damaged due to the delay in the construction and restoration of what was left of the fire, with the rains coming in the day before yesterday, the corridors of the markets began flooding, after the rain drains overflowed, the concerned authorities then withdrew the water, quickly easing the situation out.

The water drainage channels were disrupted, which led to an overflow and fountains of water flowing along the market, which prompted the shopkeepers to remove the water so that their small shops would not be flooded.

The officials stated that the market returned to normal after all the effects were dealt with, and it is expected to witness heavy turnout, especially on the weekend, reports a local daily.
