Parliamentarian Dr. Muhammad Al-Mahan has sought clarification from the Minister of Health and Electricity about the role of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in enhancing food security and in raising production rates for food industries,
The MP wants to know if the minister has conducted studies to achieve food security and if there are any short-term plans that support food security in the face of risks, reports Al-Rai daily.
Turning his attention to the Minister of Electricity and the Acting Minister of Education, he presented a query regarding the Ministry of Electricity’s blueprint for establishing new power stations, along with the strategies in place to facilitate the adoption of alternative energy sources. Additionally, he seeks insights into the comparative cost analysis between the establishment of solar energy stations and traditional power stations.
