The Chairman of the Council of Ophthalmology Departments in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Foudari said activating the electronic reports at the Al-Bahr Eye Center, is part of completing the Ministry’s efforts to automate medical reports and speed up their issuance to facilitate citizens.
Al-Foudari explained that activating the service comes within the framework of ensuring facilitation for citizens, improving the level of service and reducing the number of visitors to the center, reports a local Arabic daily.
He indicated that the steps to apply for electronic medical reports at the Al-Bahr Eye Center require one time to go to the medical reports office in the hospital or department and submit a request for a medical report.
The patient must carry his/her civil ID or of a first-degree relative and provide the patient’s personal data.
He pointed out that the request for the report will be sent on the “Kuwait Health Q8” application to the attending physician to write the report, and after writing it electronically, it will be transferred to the head of the department or the relevant unit, and then to the hospital director.
He explained that a message will then be sent via the phone to the patient or the first degree relative phone so that the person can follow it up on the Kuwait Health application and print it, without the need to go to the hospital to receive it.
