The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman, has referred the Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Ahmed Al-Mousa, to investigation, against the backdrop of exposing Kuwait to legal consequences for issuing a decision not to issue work permits to non-graduate expatriates who have reached the age of sixty years, reports Al-Rai.
Earlier the Fatwa and Legislation Department of the Council of Ministers had issued a ruling that the decision was not valid because it was issued by a non-competent person.
