Statistics issued by the Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department showed that the prevention sector, headed by Major General Khaled Abdullah Fahd, administratively closed 72 establishments last July.
The DGFD said the Hawalli and Jahra governorates accounted for 20 administrative closures each, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate 11 facilities were closed, and 9 facilities were closed in the capital governorate, reports Al-Anba daily.
As for Al-Ahmadi Governorate, the number of closed facilities reached 7, and Farwaniya 5 facilities.
As for violations the Farwaniya Governorate came in first place with 115 violations issued to facilities, while the capital came in next with 103 violations.
