The Ministry of Public Works has reacted and issued a clarification to a video clip posted in the social media platforms about the sand collected on the Abdali Road leading to Boubiyan Bridge.
The Public Works Authority clarified the road is not in use and is closed for vehicular traffic using concrete barriers by the competent authorities, reports a local Arabic daily.
The ministry said the road is unsafe and people wishing to use this road must wait until the concrete barriers are removed and the road is declared open.
