To enforce laws and regulations, and maintain the required level of safety and hygiene in public premises, the municipality has announced that it will tow away any vehicle found abandoned in public places.
The Public Hygiene and Road Works Department of Jahra Municipality recently towed away several vehicles that it found parked illegally on sidewalks and other public venues. The vehicles found abandoned or neglected on government property in the suburb of Jahra were towed to the municipality garage. Retrieval of the vehicles from the garage will include heavy fines and penalties on the owners
