The Ministry of Health announced, Wednesday, 762 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 52,007. Deaths reached 379 with the addition of two fatalities.
Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a press release that the 762 infections included 501 Kuwaitis and 261 non-Kuwaitis.
Earlier, the Health Ministry announced recovery of 593 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the tally to 42,108.
The health official said that there are 161 patients receiving treatment at intensive care wards, Dr. Al-Sanad revealed.
The health authorities conducted 4,344 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 414,874, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad added.
