The Protection of Public Morals sector of the Criminal Investigation Department, after monitoring a number of accounts on social media sites that promoted vice have arrested 74 people and charged them with committing acts contrary to public morals in a number of locations and massage parlors in various governorates of the country.
The Al-Rai daily said 18 different sites were monitored in Mahboula, Salmiya, Fahaheel, Hawalli and Khaitan and that of those who have been arrested are referred to the competent authorities to take all necessary legal measures against them.
Reliable security sources said all of them face deportation from the country.
