The Ministry of Health announced, Monday, 735 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, raising the total to 132,478. Deaths reached 816 with the addition of five fatalities. Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that there were 120 patients receiving treatment at the intensive care wards.
Those still receiving treatment amounted to 8,348. The health authorities conducted 5,658 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 971,488. Earlier, the ministry announced 738 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 123,314.
