72 hour corona-free certificate necessary for all arrivals, return of domestic workers to resume

Arrivals coming to Kuwait have to present a coronavirus-free certificate to show a negative result from a PCR test with the validity period reduced to 72 hours instead of 96 hours, which it was earlier, Al Qabas reported.

The Council of Ministers passed the decision in its weekly meeting today, Monday, under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, Prime Minister.

The council also decided to charge airlines the cost of conducting two PCR tests, one on passengers arriving at the airport and another during the quarantine period, starting 17 January.

The council also highlighted the start of the recruitment of new workers via the Belsalamah.com app, while adhering to the health regulations and requirements, as of next Sunday.
