The Ministry of Health announced 684 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 63,309, while 4 deaths was reported raising the number fatalities to 429.
Ministry spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that of the 684 cases, 422 cases were Kuwaitis, (of 61.7 percent), and 262 cases are expats, 38.3 percent. He stated that the infections were broke down according to districts, with 203 cases in Al-Ahmadi, 170 cases in Al-Jahra , 158 cases in Al-Farwaniyah, 87 cases in Hawali and 66 cases in the Capital.
He indicated that the number of those in the intensive care departments was 123, bringing the total number of all cases with Covid-19 disease and still receiving the necessary medical care is 9273.
