676 new coronavirus cases in Kuwait, 4 deaths

The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 676 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 108,268  since the outbreak of the pandemic. Four patients died, bringing the death toll to 676.

Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the infection numbers are segregated as follows: 158 cases in the Ahmadi, 140 cases in Hawalli, 131 cases in Jahra, 130 cases in Farwaniya, and 117 cases in the Capital. He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 139 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have Covid-19 and are still receiving the necessary medical care is 7,457 cases.

He pointed out that the number of swabs performed in the past 24 hours reached 3583, bringing the total to 764608. Al-Sanad renewed the call for citizens and expats to continue adhering to all health requirements, avoid contact with others, and follow social distancing.

The Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 630 infections had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 100,179 cases.
