The Ministry of Health announced 643 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 77,470 while 3 deaths were reported raising the number fatalities to 505.
Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the breakdown of infections distributed according to the areas, with 158 cases in Al-Ahmadi, 152 cases in Al-Jahra, 134 cases in Hawalli, 107 cases in Al-Farwaniyah and 92 cases in the Capital.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 101 cases, making the total cases confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 7,692. He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed in the past 24 hours was 5306, bringing the total to 568,440 tests.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 610 coronavirus infected had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 69,243 cases.
