The Ministry of Health announced 620 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 70,045 while 1 death was reported raising the number fatalities to 469. Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a press conference that the 620 infections included 423 Kuwaitis and 197 non-Kuwaitis. The health official said that there are 127 patients receiving treatment at intensive care wards, Dr. Al-Sanad revealed.
The health authorities conducted 3,599 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 522,200, he added. Earlier, the Health Ministry announced recovery of 704 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the tally to 61,610.
