The head of the Supreme Advisory Committee to confront Corona, Dr. Khaled Al-Jarallah, stated that the outbreak of the new mutated coronavirus continues to break the record for new cases and hospital admissions, Al-Rai daily reported.
Al-Jarallah revealed that the infection rate ranges from 60 percent among non-Kuwaitis to 40 percent among Kuwaitis, pointing out that raising the rate of vaccination reduces the impact on the health system.
He also stressed the importance of firmness in implementing preventive directives.
