The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced on Friday recording 411 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours. Additionally, three patients died raising the death toll at 615.
The ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in his daily briefing that the latest batch of the cases were recorded in the following health zones: 97 in Hawally, 95 in Al-Ahmadi, 80 in Al-Jahraa, 74 in the capital and 65 in Farwaniya. He added that the number of patients who continue to receive medical care in the intensive care wards has reached 137, putting the whole count of such cases at 7,574. Dr. Al-Sanad said the number of swab tests conducted over the past 24 hours reached 2,612 raising the total number of tests to 753,775.
