The Central Agency for Information Technology has submitted a request to rent Microsoft programs and licenses and also the maintenance, technical support and other services for all government institutions, at a value of 41 million dinars.
A local Arabic daily quoting reliable sources, said the Microsoft programs and licenses will cover all ministries, government departments and institutions for 3 years. The contract, the sources say, will be signed with a local company, which in turn will carry out the supply process from Microsoft.
