The Ministry of Health said Monday that 372 coronavirus cases were lab-confirmed over the past 24 hours, raising Kuwait’s caseload to 151,715. A total of 240 newly recovered patients took the overall recoveries to 147,511 while a single death raised the death toll to 938, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of Covid-19 patients receiving care at hospitals stands at 3,266, including 51 ICU occupants, he said. As many as 5,067 swab tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, taking the overall tests 1,272,017, Dr. Al-Sanad added. He reminded the public of the need to keep abiding by preventive measures, including social distancing, and follow up on the new precautions via the official accounts of the Ministry of Health.
