30,000 Kuwaiti citizens and bedoun register for Hajj until date

With just a mere 10 days left, approximately 30,000 Kuwaiti citizens and bedoun, both male and female, have expressed their keen interest to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year. Notably, a majority of those who have registered are women.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has made electronic registration for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage available until noon on November 10, reports Al-Anba daily.

It’s worth noting that Kuwait’s allocated quota for this year is 8,000 pilgrims, organized into 63 caravans specifically designated to accommodate these pilgrims. To be eligible for caravan registration, the number of pilgrims must exceed 50; groups with less than 50 pilgrims will not be permitted to organize Hajj this year.

Regarding the registration of bedoun individuals, it will continue until the established deadline, in accordance with the regulations set by the Supreme Committee for Hajj, which is contingent upon approval from the Saudi authorities.

Moreover, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is hosting a Hajj exhibition at the Mishref exhibition grounds from November 11 to 15. This exhibition serves as a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in performing the Hajj pilgrimage to familiarize themselves with the services provided by the caravans and to address any inquiries they may have concerning the rituals for this year, facilitated by the Hajj and Umrah Administration.
