The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 298 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 148,507, since the outbreak of the pandemic. 1 patient died, bringing the death toll to 923. Active cases amounted to 3,228 with 53 of them in intensive care units, MoH’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
Health authorities conducted 5,641 swab tests in 24 hours to a total of 1,228,818, he revealed. Dr. Al-Sanad urged everyone in Kuwait to adhere to precautionary measures against the virus and maintain social distancing.
Earlier, the ministry confirmed 214 fresh recovery cases, added to a total of 144,356 cured people thus far.
