Ministry of Health said Thursday 286 new cases of COVID-19 and one death raising the total confirmed to 1,50,58 as well as death toll to 934. According to the ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 47 cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 3,133.
He pointed out that 3,289 medical tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, raising the total number to 1,254,832 tests. Al-Sanad renewed the call upon citizens and expatriates to take all necessary precautions against the pandemic; abstain from mingling and observe social distancing. Meanwhile, the ministry earlier announced that 233 patients recovered from COVID-19, increasing the total to 146,517.
