During a security campaign which was organized under the supervision of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major-General Farraj Al-Zoubi in the Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates, police have arrested 248 violators of the residency law, some of whom were reported absconding by their sponsors.
Security sources told Al-Rai daily, most of the residence law violators are Article 20 (domestic) workers. They were arrested for working in Qurain Markets area. All those arrested have been referred for deportation.
