The Ministry of Health has announced that 20 dental centers and 5 emergency medical centers will be operating during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The dental centers will be open from 7:30 am to 9 pm, and the emergency medical centers will be open during the night, Al-Anbaa news reported. Four centers that will remain open in the Capital Health District are Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim (Sulaibikhat), Hamad Al-Saqer (Adailiya), Mirza Athaqi (Daiya) and Munira Al-Ayyar (Kaifan).
Meanwhile, the three centers operating in the Hawalli Health District will include Salmiya Al-Gharbi, Mahmoud Haji Haider and Sabah Al-Salem Health District, in addition to two centers in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health District, namely Al-Salam Health District and Al-Adan Specialist Hospital. In Farwaniya, Al-Osaimi Manahiyya, Southern Paradise, Western Farwaniya and Abdullah Al-Mubarak Health District, and three centers in the Ahmadi Health District, including Jaber Al-Ali, Fahaheel and Sabah Al-Ahmad A. will remain open, as well. The report added that four centers in Jahra, namely Jahra Health Center (Complex), Saad Al-Abdullah Center (Block 2), Al-Qasr Center, and South Sulaibiya Center, will also operate.
According to a ministry statement, specialized emergency dental clinics, including the Amiri Center will open 24 hours a day, as well as the Farwaniya, Jaber Al-Ahmad, Al-Adan and Jahra hospitals, from 10 pm to 6 am. In addition, the working hours of the emergency clinics of school programs for oral and dental health will operate from 8 am to 8 pm, including the Hawalli school program in Salmiya, and the Ahmadi school program in Fahaheel, with children until the age of 15 enrolled.
Moreover, the Department of Blood Transfusion Services, which includes the Jabriya Blood Bank, will receive donors from Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The bank will be open from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, and it will open to platelet donors from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The cooperative center in Adan will receive donors on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays only, from 7 am to 7 pm.
