Official government statistics revealed a decrease in the number of expatriate workers residing in the country. A total of 140,000 residents left the country during the first year of Coronavirus, which swept the country in February 2020, Al Qabas reported.
Out of the total leaving expatriate population, 39% were Domestic workers.
