14 health cities in Kuwait registered on global network

Hawalli Governor and Acting Governor of the Capital Ali Al-Asfar announced that the number of Kuwaiti regions registered on the regional network of global health cities affiliated with the World Health Organization initiative has increased to 14 after the accession of Al-Faiha region.

This was stated in a press statement by Governor Ali Al-Asfar on the sidelines of the coordination meeting that was held, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Hawalli Court Complex, in the presence of representatives of the competent authorities, in order to sign the area registration form on the regional network of health cities.

The registration of the region is the beginning of the start of work in the health cities system and work to meet the standards of the healthy city set by the World Health Organization.

With the accession of Al-Faiha region to the health cities, the number of Kuwaiti health cities registered in the Capital Governorate will increase to eight regions. They are Yarmouk, Al-Adailiya, Al-Surra, Al-Shamiya, Abdullah Al-Salem, Al-Sulaibikhat, Al-Dasma and Al-Faiha.
