The Ministry of Defense has opened the door for registration for Kuwaiti women who volunteer to join the military service as non-commissioned officers.
Al-Qabas quoting the Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations Department in the Kuwaiti Army, Marine Colonel Mohammed Abel Al-Awadi, said on the first day of the registration 137 female citizens have registered to join the service. The registration will continue until January 2, 2022.
Al-Awadi said the doors opened for registration in implementation of the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali to allow Kuwaiti women to join the army who hold university degrees, diplomas, and grades 12, 11 and below certificates.
