Coinciding with the opening of schools, the oil sources at the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) said the gasoline consumption witnessed a big jump.
The sources told Al-Anba according to KNPC official sources 13 million liters of gasoline were consumed per day following the re-opening of the school after a break of more than one-year-and-a half due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The sources said the Premium gasoline still accounts for the lion’s share of consumption at a rate of 65%, or about 8.5 million liters per day, while Super consumes about 4.4 million liters per day.
The sources pointed out, the consumption rate of Ultra gasoline was about 150,000 liters per day
