The Director of the Engineering Licensing Department at the Municipality Branch of the Capital Governorate, Eng. Nizar Al-Awwad, said 1503 licenses were issued during 2022.
These include 1097 for private housing, 45 investment, 296 service, craftsmen, and industrial, 10 association branches, 14 commercial, and 42 mosques and power transformers, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Al-Awwad also issued statistics for the administration’s achievements during 2022 saying 427 new building licenses were issued, 21 renovations, 750 modifications and additions, 39 cultivation licenses, 17 awnings, and 342 demolitions, indicating that the number of transactions received from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to issue commercial licenses reached 33,257 licenses.
