The technical committee for auditing vaccines received a total of 73,000 requests for approval of vaccination taken abroad. Around 18,500amounted to the approved vaccine, while about 10,000 vaccination certificates were rejected for several reasons, Al-Rai daily reported.
The reasons for rejection include the type of vaccine received, not completing the data on vaccination, or not containing the QR code.
The sources told the daily that it is scheduled to announce this week about all organizational measures regarding the return of vaccinated residents to the country after studying the recommendations of the technical committees in coordination with the Corona Emergency Committee.
The sources pointed out that those who received the vaccination in Kuwait will only need to register on the Kuwait Mosafer platform and download the Immune application, in addition to conducting a PCR examination 72 hours before arrival, indicating that they are free of infection.”
Steps to approve the vaccination certificate-
- Register on the certificate download platform on the Ministry of Health website.
- Receive a special activation code via e-mail.
- Download the vaccination certificate and fill in the data for the two vaccine doses and their respective symbols.
- Wait for a response from the Ministry of Health via e-mail.
- In case of approval, download the Immune application and activate it to show the status of vaccination or not.
- In the event of refusal, the authority issuing the vaccination certificate in the same country must be reviewed.
