10 employees working at oil facility to face arrest

The Ahmadi prosecutor has instructed the Criminal Security Sector, specifically the Ahmadi Governorate Search and Investigation Department, to arrest 10 employees working at an oil facility.

This directive follows the prior arrest of four expatriates who were found in possession of 10 silicone fingerprints. The expatriates admitted that these fingerprints belonged to the aforementioned employees and were used for fraudulent sign-ins and sign-outs, enabling them to receive monthly salaries without fulfilling work obligations.

A security source informed Al-Anba that the Abdullah Port Investigation Office received information about four expatriates engaged in fingerprint forgery at the Abdullah Port Refinery. Subsequently, an Investigation Force was assembled, a parliamentary permit was secured, and the information was verified. The four expatriates were apprehended, and their office yielded the discovery of 10 silicone fingerprints.

Upon inquiry about the purpose of possessing these fingerprints, the expatriates confessed that they were provided by the 10 employees, who enlisted them to conduct the fingerprinting on their behalf.

The expatriates claimed ignorance about the origin of these fingerprints, asserting that the employees were the source.

The source revealed that the charges against the defendants include unlawfully receiving salaries without performing work. Similar arrests have been made in various government institutions for comparable offenses.

The detained defendants are currently undergoing investigation, and those accused of forgery have been summoned to address the allegations.
