NBTC Group organizes Blood Donation Camp on Eid day in collaboration with BDK
In a powerful demonstration of corporate compassion and community solidarity, NBTC Group Kuwait, in partnership with the Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) Kuwait Chapter, organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center on Friday afternoon. The three-hour drive, held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, transformed ordinary employees into extraordinary heroes, with over 100 participants stepping forward to donate blood for those in critical need.
The event was inaugurated by Manoj N. (Corporate Director – HR & Admin, NBTC Group), whose inspiring address set a purposeful tone for the day. “Contributing to such a noble cause reflects the true spirit of the NBTC family,” he said, underscoring the Group’s unwavering commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and community well-being.
The program began with a warm welcome from Nalinakshan, Joint Convenor of BDK Kuwait Chapter and a valued member of the NBTC family. His heartfelt opening was followed by insightful remarks from Rineesh Chandran T. V. (Assistant Manager – Administration, NBTC Group), and Ajish Baby, (Senior Male Nurse, NBTC Group), who highlighted the medical urgency and profound impact of every single donation.
Representatives from BDK, Jayan Sadhasivan, Manoj Mavelikkara, and Rajan Thottathil praised the extraordinary spirit of collaboration and shared purpose behind the initiative. Rijas Kariyadan Cheriya (Senior Manager – HR & Admin, NBTC Group) addressed the gathering on the vital importance of such activities to society and the remarkable willingness of NBTC employees to answer the call.
Demonstrating true leadership from the front, Manoj N. and Rijas K. C. personally walked among the donors, shaking hands, offering words of gratitude, and thanking each participant for their life-giving sacrifice.
The seamless execution of the event was driven by the dedicated efforts of NBTC organizers including Venkatesan S Rajan, Vidhu S. Nair, Jins A. Jacob, Sanal Kumar, Muhammad Ali Chatheri, Kalesh Mannente, Christin T. Samuel, Soumyan A., Gopalakrishnan Harish, Ganesan Muthumanickam, Jean Joseph, Rinu Mathai, Hani S, Neseef M. Ali and many others, alongside passionate BDK volunteers. Their collective energy truly embodied NBTC Group’s core value: “One Team, One Family.”
As a heartfelt token of appreciation, every donor received gifts from NBTC Group along with discount coupons sponsored by Highway Center, small gestures recognizing an immeasurable gift.
