Kuwait’s Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, has taken a firm stance against encroachments and violations on state property.

To address this issue, a specialized task force has been established, according to reports by Al-Qabas newspaper.

Dr. Al-Mashaan formed a specialized task force led by the General Supervisor of Construction in the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department, Abdullah Jaber.

This dedicated team comprises a diverse group of experts, including Heads of removal teams, a representative from the Ministry of Interior, representative from the legal department in the municipality, and additional officials.

Comprehensive approach to identify violations

The task force has been entrusted with a crucial mission: identifying all existing encroachments and violations on state property across Kuwait.

Following the identification of these encroachments and violations, the task force will document them in detailed reports.

These reports will form the foundation for taking legal action and implementing the necessary measures to rectify the situation.

The established regulations and laws will guide the process of addressing or removing these encroachments and violations.

Time is of the essence

The task force has been given a three-month timeframe to complete its initial mission.

This period can be extended by an additional three months if necessary to ensure the task force achieves its objectives fully.

To ensure the success of this initiative, Dr. Al-Mashaan has called for support and cooperation from all sectors, organizational units, and branches of the municipality, as well as all relevant entities.
