In a statement, Minister Al-Mutairi commended the efforts of Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad, Chairperson of the Volunteer Work Center, as well as the committee members from both government agencies and the private sector for their dedicated contributions.
The statement mentioned that during the meeting, a visual presentation from Ooredoo, the owner of Fast Telecom and operator of the 51 digital platform, was reviewed. They also shared a vision for the upcoming events, starting on February 2nd, following the flag-raising ceremony that will mark the start of the national holiday celebrations. The draws and presentation of festival prizes will begin on February 1st, followed by a series of accompanying events and shows.
The total number of participating companies and shops has exceeded nine thousand, with over 300 raffle boxes placed across Kuwait to accommodate the growing number of festival-goers taking advantage of the offers. The festival’s tourism and entertainment activities are designed to appeal to all age groups, ensuring a broad and inclusive range of events.
The Tourism Projects Company presented a visual overview of the preparations for the events celebrating the national holidays and occasions, which will take place next to the Kuwait Towers.
