Lesotho ambassador praises Kuwait as a Global Model in Humanitarian Work

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Kuwait, H.E. Manthabiseng Phohleli, praised Kuwait for being a leading example in humanitarian work, describing it as a nation that embodies the true spirit of compassion and global solidarity.

Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) during her visit to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) headquarters, Ambassador Phohleli said her visit was to learn more about the society’s humanitarian and volunteer activities and explore future avenues of cooperation between the KRCS and its counterpart in Lesotho.

She commended the KRCS for its outstanding humanitarian efforts regionally and internationally, highlighting its vital role in assisting people affected by crises and disasters around the world.

For his part, KRCS Secretary-General Fahad Al-Mandil affirmed the society’s commitment to building bridges of humanitarian cooperation with countries and organizations worldwide, reflecting Kuwait’s longstanding leadership in global humanitarian efforts.

He noted that the meeting with Ambassador Phohleli focused on enhancing humanitarian collaboration and reviewing the society’s projects and programs implemented across several countries. Al-Mandil added that the KRCS continues to expand its humanitarian reach through effective partnerships, contributing to global development and strengthening shared humanitarian values.
